How long does the cleaning take, and what is the drying time?
Most appointments are completed on the same day. Duration depends on the size of the area and the scope of work required. Individual rooms, sofas or mattresses are generally quicker to complete, while larger properties or more extensive cleaning take longer. An estimated appointment time is provided at booking, based on the service selected and the work involved.
Drying times are separate from the length of the visit. Most carpets are dry within a few hours and ready for use later the same day. Times can vary according to carpet type, room size and airflow. Thicker carpets or rooms with limited ventilation may take a little longer. Sofas and mattresses typically require additional drying time, as their deeper fillings retain more moisture. Depending on the material and the level of cleaning required, they may need a few extra hours to dry fully.
Before leaving, we will advise how long drying is expected to take.
Do I need to move the furniture first?
You don’t need to move everything before we arrive. We can work around most furniture and will move smaller, suitable items where needed to ensure we can clean the area properly.
For larger or heavier furniture, we ask that you move it beforehand if you would like the carpet underneath cleaned. We’ll let you know if anything needs to be moved before we begin.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use professional cleaning products that are carefully selected for use in homes with children and pets. They are chosen to deliver effective, professional cleaning results while being suitable for family and pet-friendly environments.
For added peace of mind, we recommend keeping children and pets away from the area during cleaning and until the surface is fully dry.
Do I need to be at home?
No, you don’t necessarily need to be at home during the cleaning. If you’re unable to be there, we can arrange access in advance and get started as agreed.

Will all stains come out?

Some stains may have permanently affected the fibres or colour of the material and cannot be completely removed. We’ll assess the affected area before cleaning and give you an honest indication of what results can be expected.
